Many couples realize at some point: all we talk about is logistics, appointments, and to-do lists. Closeness, lightness, and intimacy often fall by the wayside \u2013 not out of bad intentions, but simply because there&#8217;s no energy left.<\/p>\n<p>You (or you both) might recognize yourselves in some of these scenarios:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hardly any time together \u2013 everything revolves around kids, work, everyday life<\/li>\n<li>Conversations become short, functional, or irritable \u2013 real connection is missing<\/li>\n<li>Closeness and sexuality have decreased or disappeared altogether<\/li>\n<li>One feels overwhelmed, the other withdraws<\/li>\n<li>Conflicts about parenting, task sharing, or priorities pile up<\/li>\n<li>A constant sense of \u201cnot enough\u201d \u2013 not enough sleep, appreciation, or us<\/li>\n<li>The child(ren) take center stage \u2013 and being a couple fades into the background<\/li>\n<li>Wishes and needs go unspoken \u2013 out of consideration or exhaustion<\/li>\n<li>Shared future plans suddenly seem unclear or unreachable<\/li>\n<li>Despite love: frustration, distance, or resignation are creeping in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In systemic therapy, we create space for what daily life often pushes aside: genuine connection.<\/strong> We look at unspoken expectations, old patterns, and new roles \u2013 and discover together how closeness can grow again.
